Subject: Call for Applications and Proposals for Ladies-Only Plant-Based Dairy, Eggs & Baking Culinary Training and Competition

We are excited to announce the upcoming Ladies-Only Plant-Based Dairy, Eggs & Baking Culinary Training Program on 9th November 2024 and a Culinary Competition on 10th November 2024 at the Mt. Kenya Innovations Community Hub, located along Ring Road, Nyeri.

This program is being implemented by Quality Life Without Borders, a pioneer in the alternative protein sector, in collaboration with the Mt. Kenya Innovations Community Hub.

Call for Applications- Training Program (9th November 2024):

We are seeking ladies-only chefs, vegan enthusiasts, innovators, students, nutritionists and other interested parties to participate in our Plant-Based Culinary Training on 9th November 2024. The training will focus on plant-based dairy, eggs, and baking. You will learn innovative and sustainable culinary practices focused on plant-based products. Participants will be equipped with modern skills on plant based dairy & baking culinary. Due to limited spots, only 20 participants will be selected, and priority will be given on a rolling basis.

Call for Proposals- Culinary Competition (10th November 2024):

We also invite chefs, vegan innovators, vegan enthusiasts, teachers, students, nutritionist, bakers and other interested parties to submit proposals for our Culinary Competition specifically on plant based dairy, eggs, meat & baking culinary on 10th November 2024. The competition will allow participants to showcase their culinary creativity in plant-based dairy, meat, eggs & baking, with awards presented to the winners. Participation is limited to 20 contestants, and like the training, priority will be given on a rolling basis. All Ingredients and appropriate resources you will require to build your innovative product will be provided on site.

Event Details:
• Training Date: 9th November 2024 (9:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
• Competition Date: 10th November 2024 (9:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
• Venue: Mt. Kenya Hub Office, Ring Road, opposite Nyeri National Polytechnic, Nyeri
• Certificates: Attendance and participation certificates will be awarded.
• Winners: Category winners will be awarded

Please note that both the training and competition are limited to 20 participants each.
